Credit and Debit Card Payments

Wessex Internet once again accepts credit and debit card payments as of 25/02/16.

However this is not our preferred method of payment - and we reserve the right to charge customers a surcharge invoice of 1.4% +20p of the card transaction value.

We also accept and prefer Direct Debit payments.

Cards accepted

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Charges

As it costs us more to process credit and debit card payments compared to Direct Debit, we reserve the right to charge customers a surcharge if they make a credit or debit card payment.

Please contact our accounts department before paying using a credit or debit card for confirmation on whether this would apply in your case.

The charge is calculated at 1.4% + 20p.

How to pay using a card

Please login to the Customer Portal.

Once logged in, you can either pay DUE invoices on the main page - follow the steps to add a credit/debit card. Alternatively you can click on the Account->Personal Information menu option to add a card on this page. Once added, click on Account->Invoices to pay off an invoice using CC - Credit/Debit Card.

Regular payments with credit/debit cards

We do not allow recurring payments with cards, Direct Debit is the only method for automatic recurring payments. This is due to the higher charges and we'd rather not increase our prices to cover this, or apply card admin fees if this can be avoided.
